Unless your name is Trump, people often try to refrain from promoting themselves or their accomplishments as "awesome."

Yet, later this month, the Rogers Park Builders Group will present a recently completed project which is undeniably "awesome" and they invite you to join in celebrating this accomplishment.

The special meeting is planned for Tuesday, September 29th, 6:30 – 9:00PM, at Sullivan High School, 6631 North Bosworth, as they recognize an important new collaboration between RPBG and Sullivan High School.

Months ago, faculty at Sullivan's "Low Incidence Room" (serving mostly youth with autism) expressed their need to equip a classroom with laundry, kitchen facilities and a bed so that they could teach their students independent life skills. Once presented with this opportunity, the RPBG enthusiastically signed on to this project, and this month, after working with leaders at Sullivan, they are proud to launch the new classroom. Today, September 8th, the first day of school, the students are walking into their newly refurbished classroom!

Please join Sullivan's Principal, Chad Adams, other public officials, including Alderman Joe Moore, and other esteemed guests, as they cut the ribbon and celebrate this great community service project. Learn more about Sullivan High School's role as one of the few schools in Chicago focusing on offering young people coping with these particular special needs a chance at living an improved – and in some instances – an independent self sufficient life.

LPBG will be serving a buffet dinner, courtesy of our meeting sponsors, American Street Capital, Essex Realty, and their newest Director WinTrust, Chicago.

Click here to register for this meeting as space is limited. (Park on the street or in the parking lot, with entrance on the east side of Sullivan.) There is no charge, though, if you would like, consider bringing with you a small contribution ($25, $50, $100) to help RPBG completely cover the costs of this project (make checks payable to the "Rogers Park Builders Group") or make the donation online.
