Triyar Cos. out of Los Angeles sold four vintage apartment buildings located in the South Chicago neighborhood of South Shore for $7.05 million, or about $43 per square foot, to a Chicago-based investment management company. The four buildings that sold are 1962 E. 71st Place, 7130 S. Jeffery Blvd., 7147 S. Jeffery Blvd., and 7144 S. Jeffery Blvd.
All four buildings were built in the 1920's and renovated in the 1990's. The portfolio totals 206 apartments and includes a mix of studio units, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units, as well as commercial units.
Lee Kiser and Noah Birk of Kiser Group represented the seller, while Sean Connelly, also of Kiser Group, represented the buyer.
